The Valley of Fire State Park – NE of Las Vegas – is an outstanding must-do day trip. We head up White Domes road and hike in the Fire Wave, White Domes, Rainbow Vista, Mouse's Tank, and Petroglyph Canyon areas. We end the day with a roadside visit to the Seven Sisters and the mysterious Elephant Rock and watch a colourful sunset as a storm approaches.
