Summer has long gone and winter’s cold has only lightly touched the Squamish River valley. It’s Jan 1 and two months of west coast rain has left Andrew and I with thoughts of winter adventures. But the back-country snow is still hiding in the clouds so we decide to start 2015 with a short hike up the Sigurd Creek trail to photograph some frozen water.
