Andrew has a mission to find something wondrous in the mountains. He once saw a wonder beyond Opal Cone of snow melting into growing glistening ponds under a summer sun. In these photos you can find Andrew vainly gazing for the scene he remembers. Instead, clouds drape darkly around the mountains slopes, rain threatens, and feet ache at the thought of the long march back to the car. Yet, this is the place to be, on this day, at this time.
