In the Vancouver lowlands it feels like summer even though it’s early May so Andrew and I decide to go to the mountains for a final romp in the snow. We head up toward Brandywine, a destination usually infested with snowmobiles in winter and swampy meadows and bugs in summer. On this trip we encounter the burnt out remains of a snowmobile on the trail and evidence of a snowmobiler camp.
